Some of you might think the extraordinary supercar before you is actually James Glickenhaus’ famed endurance racer, but that’s not the right answer. Right now you’re looking at the road-going SCG 003S variant, set to debut at next year’s Geneva Motor Show, where this supercar plans to receive the title of the world’s fastest-cornering car on sale.
The Italians from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) have decided to tease us with a couple of images of their upcoming vehicle and.. we’re more than impressed. Based on the car that won the Nurburgring 24-hour race, this thing of beauty is reminiscent of the old Italian racing car culture, which is why it will be hand-built in Italy by Manifattura Automobili Torino.
Featuring an extensive use of carbon fiber, this automobile will be hiding a 4.4-liter twin turbo in its engine bay, able to deliver 750 hp for the driver to put to work. As a result, the SCG 003S will reach top speeds over 350 km/h (217 mph) and will easily do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds.
But what’s even more impressive is that the SCG 003S benefits from highly advanced aerodynamic technology which allows this supercar to generate more than 2Gs through corners. It is not surprising that the company wanted its race car to be reborn from its ashes, and we’re sure this supercar will become a highly desirable collectible.
As you would expect from such an automotive jewel, a high degree of customization and personalization options will be on offer, but you’ll have to hurry up, because Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus plans to produce this thing is a very, very limited run.
